Good news for expectant and new mums – at David Lloyd we have a team of prenatal and postnatal fitness specialists who can guide you through your pregnancy, from prenatal to postnatal exercise*. We'll help you keep fit before baby arrives with prenatal fitness techniques up to the birth, and then we'll support you as you get back into shape and shed your postnatal pounds.
Having a baby will bring massive changes, but we're here to help. Your fitness needs will change throughout your pregnancy too, but our specially designed prenatal and postnatal guidance and fitness sessions will help you stay in control.
Fitness and looking after your baby
You'll need all your fitness when looking after your baby too, so think long term and start with our prenatal plan as soon as possible. Of course you can't come back to the gym right away after the birth, but on our postnatal scheme you will progress from slow, easy exercise to more demanding fitness techniques and get back to your old self - fast.
Making the transition to family life is something we know about at David Lloyd, and we're proud that many children have grown from crèche members to full gym members as they get older.
