Life as a parent with young children can be a juggling act. Childcare, work, family life. Not to mention time for you. That’s where our crèche can help you find the right balance.
With play spaces filled with toys and structured play sessions led by our expert staff, each of our crèches offers a safe and stimulating environment for younger children.
Take a breath
Having a crèche on-site allows many of our members to truly make the most of their membership*. With childcare taken care of, you can take care of yourself. Whether that’s hitting the gym, fitting in a fitness class, relaxing in the spa, or simply catching up with friends over a coffee, an extra hour of ‘me-time’ can make all the difference.
Members can book the crèche for 1 or 2 hours and the slots are timed around our group exercise classes so there's no rushing about to fit everything in.
*The crèche is available for a small additional cost. Places can be booked via the David Lloyd App. Crèche facilities vary by Club.

Our crèche facilities
Our crèches provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment for children aged 12 weeks to 4 years.
Our ethos is to allow kids to develop at their own rate, keeping the focus on a child’s individual strengths. There’s sensory play, songs and simple play mats for babies. Toddlers and young children can enjoy arts and crafts, various themed activities, as well as construction and role play sessions. We also offer settling in sessions, to help your children become comfortable in this new environment.
Qualified staff
Our crèche staff are both caring and qualified. Each member of the team holds a current certificate. And every crèche is headed up by at least one Childcare-qualified member of staff. We also have a qualified first aider in the building at all times.
We make sure the whole team have the knowledge and experience required to support your child’s physical, emotional and social development.
Kids activities
Alongside our specialist crèche service, our Clubs also offer dedicated kids clubs that your little ones can get involved in from an early age.
From Baby and Me Playtime, to Sports Squad and Design Squad, our kids’ classes, activities and clubs will help set them on a path to an active lifestyle and are great for preparing young children for school.

How do I book?
The crèche at David Lloyd Clubs can be booked for a maximum of 2 hours per day. Each session can be booked and paid for via the David Lloyd Clubs app up to 9 days in advance, depending on your membership package.
When is the crèche open?
Crèche opening hours will vary by Club. Most Clubs offer a crèche service for 2 hours in the morning, with crèche sessions set up to run alongside our timetable of fitness classes.

We have lots of kids classes and activities for all age ranges. As they do vary by Club it's best to find your nearest Club to discover more.
